Nowadays mobile phone cameras are excellent. So good in fact that more often than not general photographs of products, corporate events and press conferences will have been taken by your staff on their mobile. While there are plenty of apps to upload photos direct to social media, you may need to deliver your photos into MediaFiler. Well now you can!
Two apps are now available to download from GooglePlay and iTunes and we have configured MediaFiler to work with them both. For the Android platform, install AutoShare and for iOS it’s Photo Sync.
Uploading your mobile media to MediaFiler is now both easy and free! Security is paramount and MediaFiler needs to be set up to check the apps’ credentials and security keys but once that is done … snap away ! Don’t worry, we’ll send you a quick start guide – you’ll be up and running in seconds!
Naturally MediaFiler has dedicated specialist apps such as MediaFiler Mobile for specific uses but AutoShare and Photo Sync are free and already built into both MediaFiler and Assetfiler.
How does it work?
The process is simple. Install the app for your phone or tablet. Take pictures with your smartphone; check the picture and select share using the app and the photo(s) are sent direct to your upload folder or folder of choice. They are immediately available for your media team colleagues at the office – or instantly published, if you set up your MediaFiler to do that.
